Finally pulled the trigger and now part of the PAMily )) Waiting to get it from Sead. I want to change out the strap and would love to see some 390 strap combos. I didn't see a thread of this.

look at the panerai guide by ale there isa link to a thread where the guy did the 390 on 12 high end straps.

This is a very good choice, whatever is the version
I recommend you go to warm brown based colour straps due to brown dial and gold hands.

I still think that the simona distefano museum exhibit strap is bar the best one...

Still waiting on my 390. Going to try out a Simona Bruno in mustard and a Simona Saddle strap in Tobacco. Got the straps already and I'm leaning towards the saddle though. The Bruno will go on my 005 as a spring/summer strap. I'll try to get pics tomorrow when the 390 arrives.

I just got mine! Its awesome! Will post pics and review soon. What movment is in the 390? I want to study the movment and how to properly use it so i dont messed it up. Any links or advicd would be nice. I looked at the pam guide but could not fine.

The movement in the 390 rep is the Asian 6497 high beat clone. It's a manual wind with about 40h powere reserve. You have to wind it fully to get the full reserve. You will know it's fully wound when it becomes tough to wind and then you won't be able to wind it any more. There is no automatic rotor, so you must re wind the mainspring before the power reserve is up, or the watch will stop. Letting the movement stop won't hurt the watch, but then you will have to set the time again. Good luck with it and post some pics.

Here is mine, just received from Sead today. After a little locktite to screws and greasing the seal it's ready to go. Watch looks and feel great, and because of closed back I don't mind the plain A6497. Like the rep asso as well...
