My First PAM - 111M

Just got my first PAM, and I really love it! I really don't know much about accuracy of this rep, but from what I read, it is pretty accurate. To be honest, I'm not that concerned about how accurate the rep is. I'm more concerned with how it looks when being worn. I think the size is perfect for my 6.75" wrist. The only thing I don't like is the shiny case and bezel. So I took care of that myself by sanding the whole case. The first picture is the before and then I added some after shots of it. I like it much better now!

I don't like shiny watches...to me they are too much bling. If I dressed in a suite when I wore it, then it would be okay, but since I usually just wear jeans, it looks better without the shiny case. Anyone have any opinions about this?

I also have a nice TWB chocolate gator strap for it, but don't like the look of dark brown and black face. Any other suggestions for strap choices?

I think you shoulg get the 177 or a pvd coated pam..
But it looks nice ...

I like the feel of a watch on my wrist, and I heard a couple of people say they didn't like the titanium pam because it felt too light, almost like a toy. I've owned other titanium watches before, and they scratched really easy, and they did feel too light. Since Panerai don't have a brushed SS case, I thought I'd make my own.

I used to have a 212 pam..The case was brushed really nicely and only the bezel was polished..
Or maybe a sub would be a good choice!!
I think you did a good job but i don't like fantasy watches..

I wear the 111 daily. My advice would be to get a much more casual ammo style strap as it really dresses the watch down compared to even just the rubber.

fantastic 1st pam! i do notice many going for the 111 as a 1st piece.. i myself did, but went for the sausage instead of the sandwich

I got mine in the sales section. It was supposed to be broken, but it worked from the day I got it, and have had no problems. I love it and wear it daily with a leather bomber strap. Thanks all for the warm welcome into the fold.
