Hi everyone, I wanted to share my first experience with Elliot from Andiot Watches and my first ever rep purchase.
I ordered a 40mm Sub Date 116610 from Elliot after seeing multiple posts of the watch on Reddit, I contacted Elliot via WhatsApp and told him which model I wanted. It was not available on his website but he did say that he had stock in china and that he would send QC photos next day.
11th May - Placed order with Elliot via WhatsApp
12th May - Received QC photos via WhatsApp and gave Elliot the green light
13th May - Elliot advised me that the watch was sent to the logisitics team and I will be provided with a tracking number in 48 hours
15th May - Tracking number provided
24th May - Departed China
25th May - Arrived in the UK and was handed over to Royal Mail
28th May - Delivered by Royal Mail
A little over 2 weeks all in, I am very happy with the watch that I received and it looks so much better in person. It's hard to gauge from the QC pictures alone, however all of my concerns were gone once I had the watch on my wrist.
I did have to do some digging to figure out the tracking and found that this website provided full tracking all the way from china to my door. I believe that Elliot uses a delivery partner to get the watch to the UK and then a new label is added once arrived in the UK.
Overall, I'm very happy with the watch and the whole experience from Elliot, he provided me with updates and reassured me when I was getting nervous waiting for the watch to arrive. I would highly recommend Andiot Watches.
