My First Order from a TD: 2 VSF's

Ordered 2 watches today (18 March 2023):

• Panerai - PAM320 Luminor GMT 44mm SS/RU Black VSF V2 P9001
• Rolex - Submariner no date 114060 40mm ceramic 904L VSF VS3130

Got confirmation via email and Steve also confirmed via WhatsApp that the order has been processed. Had a bit of trouble with navigating the site and took a loooong time to pick the reps I wanted but Steve was very patient. I was talking to 3 TD's but Steve was the only one who consistently responded to my inquiries via WhatsApp.


Will now wait for QC, which Steve mentioned will be ready in 2 weeks.

Ordered a 3rd watch while waiting for the 2 watches above. I was looking through Steve's inventory site at steve888(dot)x(dot)yupoo(dot)com and saw that a handsome CF yacht-master was in stock with the Rhodium dial which I liked. I couldn't stop myself, unfortunately, so I pinged Steve over WhatsApp and he said I could still add a watch to my order.

Third watch is a CF 126622 Yacht-master with the Rhodium dial. Ordered and paid partial payment on March 29. Got QC photos the next day and GL'd a few hours later.

Still waiting for the watches on the first post of this thread to turn up for QC, which I hope happens in the coming days.

Update:

Was told that VSF ran out of movements for the 114060 and that I may need to wait longer.

Was also told that we would have to wait for a PAM 320 as well from the factory as it was not in stock

I then asked if a PAM 438 was in stock and Steve said yes. Got QC photos after a day and a half (April 5th); I asked for a couple more photos which arrived a day later. GL given immediately after

Made the decision to just cancel the VSF 114060 for now so I could have the CF 126622 and PAM 438 get shipped to me asap.

Got the tracking number yesterday (April 6th) via email. Can't wait!

Update on shipping:



I've had dozens of orders shipped (big items included) from Guangzhou and Shenzhen before and the usual wait time was no more than a week, including during CNY and lockdowns. And these were not shipped via big name forwarders like DHL or FedEx, too.

It's bewildering that a couple watches will take this long to fly across the South China Sea.

Thank you for your patience and support, in order to improve the safety of transport as much as possible, transport work we are given to the freight company arrangements, time sometimes there will be a delay

Watches arrived during the evening of April 20th (420!). Watches came in a cardboard box full of bubble wrap. In the box came:

• VSF PAM 438
• Extra leather strap and black tang buckle
• CF 126622 in a plastic watch travel box with Rolex branding
• Small screwdriver for adjusting the bracelets

Total shipping time from receiving the tracking number to having the watches on hand is exactly 14 days (China to Southeast Asia).

Steve said two weeks and it arrived right at the 2-week mark.
