Ok. I'm a Rolex guy. Wanted something bigger & sportier. Decided to try a Pam. I like the looks of the Regatta and the Daylight. Found this in the sale section and took a chance...

I love it. It's a quartz because I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something I'd hate. Now I think I want a Daylight with a black face and an auto movement. Any suggestions on where?

I had a Pam rep about 10+ years ago that sucked. Glad I tried again.

I need a deployant clasp. Anyone have one I can buy?

I guess I have to start reading the Pam section now... Sheesh.

Nice ones guys. Yep, that's the one I want only I want it on rubber. What was the use behind the design of the Daylight? I get what inspired the Regatta but not sure about the Daylight.

Try PAM 250K with 7753 movement...

Daylight was a horrible Stalone movie. The watch was commissioned by him for the film.

Yeah, I knew about the movie and they wore a new Pam but I didn't know that... Oh well, I still think it's a cool watch.

Thanks for the info.

He didn't actuly wear the watch in the movie but it was made with the movie in mind. ;)

Hard to tell.....May be a 176 or a 112. Nah, it's a 176.

I love the Regatta so far but I miss having the date window. I think I like the Daylight better without numeral markers. Just the dot markers. Yep, I think that's my next purchase...

Ok. So I bought a deployant clasp from another forum member only to discover it doesn't fit. I'm guessing there are scores of threads addressing this but I assume there are more than one type of deployant.

I'm trying to use it on a rubber strap and the strap is apparently too thick.

Can anyone offer a brief explaination?

Thanks.

Mark

Oh, and I also have 2 leather straps as well and it seems that they are too thick too. Anyone want to buy a clasp?

So in looking for a deployant to fit the thicker straps, is there a term I should be using to specify the thicker one? Or is there a name for the thicker vs. the thinner?

I bought high end straps on Ebay for my 2 Pams (1 croc, 1 alligator) ... in each instance, the thickness was specified in mm, and I bought 4mm thick straps, but I prefer the buckle style (may not be for you).... btw, these straps COMPLETELY upgraded the look of the watch (I'm a Rolex guy too) .....
