Just wanted to share my excitement of these great OEM & Peter Gunny Canvas Straps. The only rep in is the Rubber strap.
I got these from m2m here on RWI and can´t wait to put these on my PAM000 H-fac. Will definitely post some more (wrist)shots once it back (waterproofed)
I also ordered a OEM Polished Buckle and must say that I knew diference was very little and I have to agree. But then again, it is much smoother at the edges and engraving is indeed better.
The OEM Asso and OEM Black Calf Rugby are just wonderful. I always loved the PAM Rep Asso but OMG this OEM is just purrrfect, soft as a puppy
uppydogeyes: and a great leather smell (no chinese glue odour).
The OEM Black Calf Rugby has this really nice soft feel to it. I have a black calf holder for my GEN Montblanc Roller Pen and it feels just like it but then even softer. The padding is really nice.
And then the Peter Gunny Yellow Canvas, I thought I´d get myself a really nice summer strap that would stand out of the crowd. Well this one most likely willunk:.
Here are the pics and I now know better how to distinguish OEM from Rep (both strap & buckle) having seen and felt them. Is it worth the extra money, well on first look I would say yes. Will know for sure once I´ve worn these babies.
