My favorite strap has finally bit the dust. Please help me with words to search for a

I don't know the right words to hunt down a similar type strap again.

I really like the straps texture on the outside leather. Is there a word that represents that type of leather texture (not smooth, but not rough).

The sides of the strap appear to be sealed, but there are still leather fibers visible and I like the look/feel of that. Kind of an unfinished look.

I tried searching for, "unfinished" and "rough" leather, but the straps that were coming up weren't quite right.

The strap itself is made for multiple layers with the inside layer being a stronger different coloured piece of leather that's butter smooth (or was butter smooth at least...) - is there a term for a strap that's made with different leathers?

I also like the (medium tan?) colour which I think matches the PVD case well. With that said, I've rocked the tan strap for ~ 7 or 8 yrs now, so I'd be open to switching it up if you think of another colour would work well.

Do you know who originally made the strap? Not many people were doing sewn in GPF style buckles 7-8 years ago.

I believe it was made by TimeBandit.

If it was Timebandit, then it was an ammo pouch strap. Which is kind of what I was thinking. The strap itself looks like it was cut from some already made item, not a hide.

If that is the case, you should be looking for an "ammo pouch strap".

The leather was not from an ammo pouch, it was an old belt.
I guess they came from norway.

I actually know the feeling of when you absolutely KNOW what you're trying to find but lack the proper words to describe your item on the internet. Feels like a really annoying itch that you can't scratch in your brain.
