My favorite PAMs in my current collection

I've acquired a few PAMs during my short start in rep collecting and so far I narrowed it down to 3, actually its down to 2 now. After seeing a bunch of these first hand, I can tell exactly what I want. I prefer the sausage dial PAMs and the original pre-v watches. Theres something about the historic collection that reminds me of the original history Panerai. Take a look and let me know what you think.

I am thinking about replacing the 176 with is the 02B or a 5218-201A. Actually just sold it today to another member on RG. Totally went nuts over acquiring it and am glad its going to another PAM freak :).

Whatever model the leftmost beauty is, PLEASE take it out and let its strappaganza unfold in full beauty, complimenting its otherworldly appeal in oculos meos!

Do I ever wish I had foregone my 253 and saved up a bit for a proper.. 111? 17..something? Heck, whatever number that one is.

Golly golly golly what a strap!

What I meant to say is "can we get more pictures of the left pammie with that strap on?". It's a 111? or what is that.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately the strap has been sold to another member on a different forum with the 176.

It was the honey brown croc strap that comes standard on gen PAM176's. The left most pam is my 01B project. I on the search for parts and is actually really fun trying to source it. Totally different from my purchasing the 176 fully built.

I am considering building it into a 04B from DSN but I cant find an accurate enough caseback to do so.

Anyways I will try and take a few more photos of the left most PAM over the weekend!

Yea I just got the 01B caseback. Maybe I'll consider getting a DSN caseset and swap back and forth when I really feel like doing it? Who knows what will happen!

You'd be better off using a standard case, IMO. DSN's cases have some unique quirks that the standard rep cases don't have.

I was speaking with LOS yesterday and he recommended that if I really wanted a PVD to send it out to someone over on the east coast. Supposedly that person has the PAM PVD coating and texture down and for around $200 it's probably the best and most reasonable way to go.

Also the one quirk that bothers me about the DSN case is that I like to use thick straps and its already wearing the lug end side of my favorite strap down :(
