My Davidsen PVD Arrives

Got my Davidsen PVD today and as others have commented it's exceptional. The simple beautiful deal screams quality. I don't know how dials are made, printed and sandwiches cut, but this one is fantastic. As has been mentioned before, the lume on the hands is great and the dial is nice too. No way I would have anyone touch the lume.

The beadblasted PVD case is beautiful. The crown lever is as tight as a virgin's...Much tighter than any other Panny reps I've seen.

One thing that I haven't seen mentioned is the strap. As we know most or all rep straps are crap and i'd just as soon have the dealers save 5 or 10 dollars but not including the strap, since I'm gonna replace it anyway. But this strap is actually nice and one that I'd consider wearing.

WOW same watch as mine..I love it...my 202a actually arrived last friday..but im not in ..so its just left at the PO for the weekend..and yesterday..on monday ..I picked it up..and damn...as i expected...a lovely PVD 202a....with a good quality one..

the strap seems not enuf hole for me..and I cant wear it ..so need to purchase a panerai punch whole..or ermm...let me think first about that..

the most important thing ...I donno how to wind up this watch..becoz this is my first time having a hand wind watch...so I need some advice ...on this ...

its a very good one ...love it...still havent wear it yet...LOL ...

Yes, the strap I got is a long size and I have it on the last hole. I'm sure I'll be replacing mine soon. I have a Horween cordovan ready to go on it, but I just wanted to mention that it's a decent strap and certainly can be worn.

I would love to..I've already got another strap for this 202a with PVD bucle...the strap is from Banda with black PVD bucle..

I want to take pictures ..but at the moment..I dont have camera...will try to source a camera soon ....will post it once i got it ...

Nice watch davewe,

could you please check the CG if there is a hole on the backside to remove the lever-pin?
Cause my watch has a very loose lever and I find no way to remove the pin.

Mine is the opposite - the lever is actually a bit too tight. One thing to suggest for a loose lever is to make sure the CG screws are tight. If there is play in the CG itself that will make the lever seem loose.
