Hi All,
Just wanted to share my Panerai with all of you. I bought this from WatchEden. Not sure what model# this is, but it looks nice. I love that bluish AR look. I'm surprised the GMT aligns to the minute. It's heavy (225g) and big (45mm). It feels very sturdy, and after wearing everyday for about 3 weeks, still no problem. The time is quite accurate, about +1min/week. Haven't checked for water-resistance. So far, it's okay going under the faucet when I wash my hands.
Since it's one of those limited edition models from a few years ago, there's hardly any thing to reference it to. So, I can't tell if this is close to the gen look. I've got a few hits on Ebay, but the pics were not too good. I even wonder if those are real gens that are listed in Ebay. I only noticed a few differences. The diagram on the back case is incorrect, which I referenced to a Ebay watch. The black dial should be matte, not checkered. It's got a mineral crystal with A/R. The bezel does not click exactly at North/12 position. My North is aligning at 11:30. I've got a loose CG lever, which I've fixed by applying some scotch tape to the crown. I used a hole puncher and applied the invisible scotch tape to the crown. I've attached a pic below. I'm going to use a clear tape instead of the invisible tape next time. Any other easy fix for keeping the CG lever in a closed position? Other than these small problems, I'm very happy with this watch. It's turning out to be a good daily beater.
