I didnt drop the watch or anything. It was sitting on my night stand, working fine the day before, and I picked it up to wind it and when the crown turnsed there was no clicking noise and the gears were not catching. The crown stem screw is in because the crown can still be pulled otu one click to set the time, but when I try to wind, all the gears move but there is not clicking and it is not catching.

Does anyone know if this is an easy fix? Thanks!

...I hope you didn't overwind it?

However, I don't know of any other solution besides having a watchsmith look at it..

definitley didnt overwind it. the crown slowly "unwinds" now after I turn it. I was looking at the movement andthe little tooth that is supposed to catch the gears is not making contact with the gears. I may try to take the case back off and see if the screw holding that down came loose....

You seem to know more than most of us here ;)

Hopefully it's a simple fix. You might want to check if the stem and crown are firmly attached

haha, turns out is was a simple fix. I just took the caseback off and the little "arm" that catches the big gear wheel had come loose the the little spring below it was no longer providing resistance. I took the little piece off, aligned it with the spring, and screwed it down tight. Now the watch winds like it should.

Wow! What a sense of accomplishment. And to think 15 minutes ago I was freaking out about a broken watch.
