Meh, I think the PVD/ceramic would be better applied to another watch. The black case detracts a bit from the elegance of the Radiomir design, IMO.

That chrono just has WAY too much going on with the chrono dials, day/night indicator, GMT hand and power reserve display.

I don't see anything there that I'm even interested in seeing a rep of, let alone scraping up the cake for the gen. More examples of Panerai moving away from its tool watch roots and towards being a "fashion" or "haut horologie" brand.

The Pam 276 release price of $96,000. has to be a record for a new Panerai. At 47mm it might be the new rep to have. The black Radiomir is a gorgeous watch.

I would suggest making your weblink a "dead" link.

Please copy and paste into a new browser window in the meantime, folks.

All I see is several degrees of wrongness, needless fuss, frippery and complication. Ok I quite like the idea of ceramic but not the infantile pig picture on the dial. What happened to minimalism?

Agreed, SP. I would LOVE to see a ceramic cased Luminor, but it just doesn't seem to *fit* on the Radiomir case to me.

I love the 8 days GMT. First in house movement made by Panerai. I think its kinda cool. I don't like the price tag though 10,800.00 usd. Thats friggin steep.

I love the movement, too. I even like the watch, but the dial is just a *bit* too cluttered. If they moved the power reserve display to the REAR of the movement, like their new tourbillon movement, it would be near perfect.

Then the front would just be be the local time, GMT hand and day/night indicator for the GMT time. Perfect!

Agreed $11K is pretty pricey.

Angus told me that they're already contemplating the ceramic Radiomir. I think they're perfecting the technology after the J12 and the HBB...

Totally agree mate. PVD looks cool on the butch Luminors, even on Anubis' PVD Fidd - but I can't warm to it on the Radiomir.
