I have an 288K that I bought from mary.
It's very accurate (+1-2 sec a day).

I notice that when I screw back the crown I wind the watch, which should be normal. The last part it sounds like something is moving/rotating, not only winding the watch.

Is this normal or harmful for the watch?

Depends. It shouldn't wind as you screw the crown in, it means the stem is a tad too long. Whether it's doing any damage or not only an inspection could tell for sure but nasty sounds are not a good sign.

Yes, but they should not. My UN Diver does as well (common on this watch by all accounts) and I'm not worried enough to fix it but if his is making noises that's a different matter.

my 288 winds while screwing in , so it may be that 288 behaves this way.
