Movement ring/holder mounting

Hi All,

I have a question about mounting the movement ring/holder to the movement itself..

I've been searching the net for this and had nothing come up, I've seen builds where they have the movement and movement ring in one piece which makes for an easy dial dot dial application.

does the ring have some sort of flanges that screws to the movement? I don't see any on the raffles movement rings..

ps: building a holes case 5 digit sub and just trying to do my homework before buying the rest of the needed parts.

open for any recommendations on a 2824 adapter ring fit for gen spec sub case.

in reps, the dial feet enters inside the movement holes, then the movement ring holder "rests" over the back of the dial ( around the movement ) and finally using tabs and screws to attach the movement to the case, so the ring/holder its secure between the tabs and the dial.

yuki sell this movement holder/adaptors to install ETA on Gen spec cases. email him, pretty certain TC holder should work for you.

With my build I'm using eta 2824 movement with gen 16610 dial feet cut. I was hoping to glue with dial dots to the movement ring, but maybe have to glue to the dial spacer ring?

I have yuki 15xx ring but not sure it will work for gen spec 16610 sub case..

I haven't seen yuki sell eta adapter for 16610 case, is this something you have to ask for?

Not exactly on topic, but it is sequitor: I’ve been trying to 3D print a movement holder to fit a random movement I have into a gen case and have had nothing but disappointing results. Even with spec sheets on both I’ve had nothing but disappointment. Granted I’m not a fab kind of guy...
