Most Accurate Rep

Hey Guys,
I know this has been asked before and I read through all the threads relating to this topic, but I still remain confused as to which Panerai is the best Rep. I do want to say that I am not a fan of the 89. At the end of the day, I do want a watch that I like to wear!

Your input is greatly appreciated.

I started with a 111H on a ultimate rubber strap. That got me all hooked. DSN's 111H looks to be the best buy as far as I know. Others care to input?

One of the "Ultimate" 104s or "Ultimate" 252s are both good options. Both of those are autos, though.

Honestly, PAMs are still unknown enough that 99% of people won't even recognize it as a luxury watch, let alone be able to tell the difference between gen and rep.

You're best off picking the model that *you* like the most and asking how to make that as accurate as possible, IMO.

I just ordered the 252 from Puretime and can't wait to get it.
I did the side by side comparison with the gen. myself and did a little research here as well to make sure the movement (Asian 7750) was going to work well, hope it does.
Also I asked Puretime to QC or check the watch out before shipping it to make sure everything works properly, we'll see what happens soon.

I agree with the hooligan... The Pam 199 is also one of the bext out of the box rep's...

My first rep was a DSN PAM 112 based upon a review I read here by Aquaracer. I'm no expert, but I'm told it is very close to the real thing and with a Savage brown pull-up strap it looks just great. Wearing it as I write this: still love it after over a year.

That would be a Genuine ,, they are always trying to distinguish themselves apart from replicas and the accuracy demands top dollar!
They also think they are better than anyone else because of a lack of blemishes but I think the inaccuracy of a replica provides character to your wrist.

Other than that.. I like the Skyland, UPO and Aquaracer

There's no real "most accurate" rep for panerai's, atleast not right out of the box BUT..

I've heard Ebel reps are pretty close to gen (at least looks wise)

There is no perfect rep but the DSN 111H or 1950 are quite close.

If you can stomach white, the DSN 010D isn't bad too...
