Hi all,

I'm intending to get a 44mm PAM with a power reserve indicator. Which one is the most visually accurate? And from which dealer? I generally prefer Swiss movements to Asian ones. Thanks.

I personally dont think the power reserves are accurate due to the fact of the thin date font.

I would recommend you an Arktos PAM 092 Ultimate or any PAM without dates.

27/28 silver arrow have wrong pr dial and not accurate at all, 27C may be better but date font/mag sucks

If you want power reserve you are talking an Asian 21J movement. So I would not worry about the power reserve of a 21J because they are not great 24 to 36 hours max.
I think the Pam 222 regatta that Andrew offers is somewhat accurate. but the price is steep for a rep with a 21J movement at $208. others are the 90, 125 (40mm), or the 124 (44mm). Most of these dials, as noted, have font flaws on the power reserve.
I like the whole concept of the power reserve. I wish there was a rep manufaturer that could offer it in another movement somewhere in the price range bewtween an Asian 21J and the Sopras 2892. that would be nice but difficult to do. :D

the 090 is 44mm as well...check with Paul...he's got the 222 for a steal price...if i remember well it's 149$...and the PR with the 2892-A2...are simply great reps!...don't be too a***!...i just ordered the last 027 from EL...i am waiting for it..it will be the most expensive rep i have ever bought but just at looking the pics...it is really worth it!

from what i understand the 28 had two versions. one with the silver arrow and the smaller date font, and a later version with the lumed power reserve hand and with the larger date magnification. from what i understand the one that is available on josh is very accurate.
