Please take a look at the latest offering from the rep manufacturer. PAM089 with correct dial colour (grey) and correct Titanium case. It's powered by Asian 7750 hi beat rate with GMT function. I can vouch that this is very very good movement (without the chrono function enabled). Crystal is AR coated too.

I am in the same situation, the more I read the more confused (in a good way) .

takashi,
would not a swiss ETA movement be better than a asian 7750? Would there be another choice with a swiss movement that is very accurate? Thanks.

Generally you can say that the Swiss movement is better in term of finishing and parts availability. Reliability may be an issue with Asian movement (in particular Asian 7750). However, having chrono module disabled, Asian 7750 with high beat rate in current PAM GMT model is really good. I have own a PAM088, 186 and 092. All of them powered with Asian 7750 hi beat rate and no problem at all.
If you're looking for an auto pam with really good movement is PAM063 (i think) with ETA2893-2 GMT <-- same movement as the genuine Panerai. This can set you back by 500USD easily.

Thanks, I didnt realise it could be that expensive! Do all the reps offer this version or only some? I am saving up for a big buy (my list currently is HBB, MBW DRSD, upcomimg Chopard) and now this.

You'd have to get a Swiss ETA/Valjoux chrono movement to have the running seconds at 9 o'clock, which would likely be even more expensive than the 2893-2 that Taka mentioned. Most Swiss 7750/7753 powered watches are $600+.

To make Swiss ETA 7750 as non chrono to fit a replica PAM089 is not a good choice. Save your money and go for newest PAM089 powered by Asian 7750 hi beat rate.

Has the date font problem been solved - I thought that is still the weakness of the automatics...

Thanks. Taka bro, but seems like it has a missing nine index(not acceptable) and the hands are quite obvious different(not acceptable) apart from the usual date mag thingy(acceptable) .

Now looking at the pam63, any major flaw you guys spotted?

the PAM050 is accurate rep...but it is 40mm...dunno if that's a probl for you...I would never go with a 40mm PAM...

Well... The PAM063 is considered very good too. You can get replacement crystal with excellent magnification from davidsen.

What do you mean by missing 9 index anyway?>

Here are the pixs, marked in red the missing 9 index and the thinner hands.

Ok... I got what you mean. Anyway, you can mod it by hand painting the indices.
