Hi fellow PAM lovers,

I want to make a little review about my lastest strap from a new strapmaker (that is NOT trusted here). Please mods, if this is not the place to discuss novelties, remove my post.

I own a 390 that wears a very classy brown croc 24/22, that keeps this watch dressy.

But I wanted to make it look a bit more sporty and couldn't decide myself.
I went to discover a new strap maker who is very good at comms and his skills are very good too : MorvanStrap.
He has no website but only a flickr account : here https://www.flickr.com/photos/131385220@N08/sets/
He has some "ready to ship" straps but is also commited to custom orders. All is hand made !

My "Rat Rods" strap is beautiful :

The color of it changes due to my lack of photography knowledge, but the leather is supple (as a ToshiStrap for example), and the dye is really evenly impregnated

I want to thank him and spread his name accross our world beacuse he deserves it !

Thanks for reading

Ohhhh .. I forgot to tell you the best part : the price.

I paid 75 euros (wihtout shipping) for this strap !
with the tubes in place and a nice leather wallet where I can keep the watch,

AND an 5 years warranty !! (for the stitching only, but I'm sure he 'd warrant you're satisfied with his products)

To my opinion it's the same quality as Toshi or Strapcode (these ones I can compare to), for a fair price.

I checked his flickr account and he makes very nice straps, just like yours is.
Congrats and thanks for sharing :)

The blue one looks very nice, on the pic when you bend them, I see that the glue on the sides is chipped, or is the bad macro?

I double checked and can't see any glue. I told you I'm no good photographer....

I'm very happy with this strap, and another thing I didn't mention is the smell of it : real leather.

I'm not involved in his business in any kind and I have not been paid for advertising but that strap maker is really gifted that's why I wanted to share before he's too much booked and his prices rise.

I lately understood what you meant : the edges look craqued.
True.
but it's on purpose. I asked the strapmaker and he said to obtain this effect, he 'd to use 4 different dyes, a fixer, a torch , grease , sandpaper and beeswax. All these technical features to obtain this more brutal and less smooth side... incredible work.

Has anyone recently been able to contact Frederic Morvan regarding his straps? I have been unsuccessful in reaching him on Flikr and the email provided ^^ by Oratempus.
