I've been wanting this watch for years. It came out yesteday, and I ordered it from Josh as soon as it was available. I can't wait to get it. He sent me a tracking number within 9 hours. I have 11 other reps, but I haven't been this excited about getting a new watch since my first rep over a year ago.

it is way over priced as it has the old asian movement in it and will fail trying to run all of those complications. i love these and when i saw it i was very excited until i found out what movement it had.

if some of you have ordered it i wish you luck. i am afraid you are going to need it.

I also hope the color is just off in Joshua's pics...clearly needs to be WHITE...

Also noticed the font on the outside bezel is off...especially on the 6's and 9's...

Still a beautiful watch...looking forward to pics and a review from sam1174...

good eyes, i was wondering if anybody was going to notice the 6 and 9. they are also too far down on the bezel. the crown is also off and the red on the dial is almost orange.

My biggest problem with the rep is that the subdials look way too recessed. The gen has recessed dials, but it doesn't look to be that deep. Can't wait for a review on this one.

How do you know it is the old movement?

EDIT: I saw the picture on Joshs site.....it is the old one....sorry for my dumb question ; )

Yes the slide rule font doesnt match the Datora, but it is the same font as the Old Navitimer A13330, and current Navitimer A23322.

Looks like they just used existing screen printer thingys

Hey guys,
did you also notice in Josh's photos: there is dirt specs all over the watch and inside , all around the movement.

Damn, I hope this is not the QC they plan to do on these as they go out to buyers around the world??!! :shock:

Excellent review, Sam. Have to admit that this one really catches me eye- but I think I'll wait to see if some of the more obvious flaws are corrected. The inaccuracy of the slide rule on (probably) all of the Breitling reps bothers me a bunch; I'm a pilot, too, and believe it or not still use a real E6B. :shock:
