Hi, this may be a silly question, but i am new here and I'd like to know if anyone has any opinions on the best Montblanc Timewalker Chrono from the listed trusted sellers? Thanks in advance.

The dealers sell both the cheaper and "high end" versions. If you're talking about the "high end" version with A7750 movement, they are excellent watches. Great build quality with very good stainless steel band. Only drawback is the risk you take with the A7750 movement, but that's a necessary evil on many other models. Good luck!

true about the a7750, lots of people have experienced them being a bit scrappy. I never had a problem though!
and if you really like the wach, just send the watch to domi (dmuit) and get a swap for a swiss eta 7750, or start y getting a full service and lube job on it, which probably is the actual problem when folks experience problems with A7750!
the no crono timewalker is a fantastic rep too :)

Excellent point about swapping the movt out for the eta.

I never considered the cost/benefit equation of doing a movt swap. How much would you reckon that be? Servicing on the A7750 can run up to $200, so I could really look into contacting someone like domi for a movt replacement myself.

Any risk or downside of implanting the eta movement into a rep not originally built with it? (Obviously no experience with mods here)
