I finally have a MH on the way in a week or two so now I need a strap. It's gotta be brown hornback, blue stitching so show me what's out there!

HI TB, congratulations on the MH: I will help you out.
Here are the 5 "contenders" for strapping the MH on my wrist:
1.) ordinary SS bracelet. Surprisingly good looking on the MH, but adds alot of weight. For the office.
2.) white rubber strap w/18mm deployant. Very comfortable during the summer, but it feminizes the design. (Interesting fact: At the MH launch bash in Montauk, only women wore the MH on white rubber). I have also used the brown rubber with good results.
3.) Prototipo Doppio Buco Chocolate Race Strap for AP ROO Montauk Highway by AP Bands. A RG member suggested this design to Adam at APB and they made a run of, I think, 20. Nice sporty look to wear when driving the speed boat.
4.) Haut Strapmakerie Antique Brown Crocodile with Blue Stitching. Vic always has good hides in antique brown, and this works really well with the Montauk.

AP Brown Hornback for AP ROO Montauk Highway. This is my favourite look. Incredibly sexy, and has just the right colours on the hide and stitching. I had a Jacob hornback, but the hide was a little lighter in tone and more chestnut with some charcoal highlight, also good but I sold it.

He He, White rubber: you can use the rep Diver white rubber strap if you do not want to fork out the bucks for the over-priced OEM rubber strap. However, the gen rubber straps are at a higher level of quality and I do not think any factory has repped the white rubber 18mm yet. I always get paranoid that a hamburger will splatter the white rubber strap when I am grilling, but it cleans very well.

What size is the Diver rubber? Or is it the one that doesn't come with the deployant eh?

Throw it on a Nato or some hemp string. Nothing says AP more that downplaying the strap choice.

Boss wants more photos. Here is the new brown rubber 20mm tang buckle strap with it. It is the best combo for rubber, IMO.
Does anyone have pictures of legend's white leather strap with red and blue stitching?
He can't seem to find photos of it anywhere and sold it a long time ago, but I'm sure one of you has a picture somewhere (or at least remembers the strap on his mh). I've spent more than 45 min looking for pics and this is killing me.
