Hi guys,
I'm a complete novice in the watch industry. I have an old Swatch and decided that it is time to move on. I wanted to get a IWC Portugese rep but I gave up due to the movement problems. I have now moved on to Mont Blanc. I came across TimesShop a couple of models. What do you guys think. Are they any good? Should I email the site for further info etc.

I almost answered without opening the links - glad I didn't.
if you're going for a eta, clone eta or 7750 version, I would say go for it, they're amazingly good looking reps, and very accurate.
the ones you are looking at are quartz and a 21j
problem with the 21j that I had few years back, was the quality of the M.B. stars on the case and crowns - maybe they got that right by now on the 21j, I dont know.
as for quartz crono versions, the subdial spacing is normally offf compared to the 7750 reps, meaning that the dial and the ticking cronohand will be a tell

Thanks for the reply. I did a bit of looking around and noticed that all cheap( read quartz or 21j)MBs do not have the side wholes and they generally look bad. The problem is all 7750 are at least 280 bucks, does anybody know if i can get them for cheaper, lets way 150 dollars.

Thanks

I bought the TW Chrono about a year ago from Hont and I wear it daily. The thing runs great, looks great and gets tons of compliments. It did cost around $300 (with shipping)but it was well worth it. I looked for over a month trying to get a better dal because I thought it was a lot to pay for a rep.In the end I am glad I did and would reccomend Hont as your dealer.

The biggest tell is that it is a rep is the deep set date window. I would reccomend you look around and wait for one to come up for sale which doesn't happen often or save up for a bit and get the 7750.

Good luck!
