Molinja mov't question.

I'm leaning towards getting a vintage PAM with a Molinja with an eye towards doing some mods. I've read Robs reviews of them and he mentions that there is a risk of screwing up the keyless works when pulling the stem.

I've messed up the works in some asian mov'ts which required sending them out for some help so I'm kind of worried about this issue with the Russians.

Anyone have any input on this? It's about the only thing holding me back...

Thanks for your knowledge Enzo, I've been trying to so.lve just the problem you describe with a vintage style "slots and dots" 47m. Awaiting gold hands from Davidsen. So I'm off to practice stem/ lever drill
Also bought a kidney belt from the surplus store on Krd...a great buy.

cheers
Marc

I confess, I'm a JAFA.
Still about 4 belts up here, if you need one just let me know, I reckon 1 is all I'm ever going to need.
Have you seen all the talk about the new Ennebi watch on the "big watch forum".
Apparently an ex panerai designer works for them so it could be another interesting tool watch.

OK Enzo,
I did it, still no idea what this watch be like, but functional it will be.
I had no idea how hard it is to do the ageing process, tried it on my slots and dots and buggered it up big time, it's truely is micro management. So hats of to you big time for the work you've displayed on the forum.
Of home now, Titirangi awaits.

Enzo, I just wanted to thank you for such an in-depth explanation!

I know it takes time to do a write-up and I appreciate the time you took to do it.

Can anyone supply me with info as to where I can purchase one of those CLEAN movements? I see many Molnija on the bay - but I just want a movement only.
