Modifying Pnaerai GMT88

I'm getting ready to order some crowns from Palpatine. Are you looking for re-lume? Cannon pin fix?

PAM88 doesn't have recess pin problem. Powered by Asian 7750, high beat with GMT.

Perhaps reluming and/or genuine rubber strap are way to go.

probably davidsen..if his ar crystal can fit the 88 case, u'll just need a 6mm cyclops..

taka - the lume is actually pretty decent on the 88 and the 186..

i agree..i don't plan to do any mods on mine..date mag is good, date font is not too thin, decent lume, awesome casework, etc..i'm not too concerned abt the lack of AR, just give the sapphirre a good polishing w alcohol, glass cleaner and a jeweler's cloth and it'll disappear in most situations..

I wonder if DavidSen can provide a GMT hand with the correct size pointer? This flaw is the reason that I have not bought this watch yet.

@azgjav: indeed the lume is very good out of the box for this particular model. However, it's still no match to C3 Superlume.

@azgjav - Bro how to get a 6mm cyclop? and a thicker date font for a ETA 2836? i wanna start modding my 63. I would probably need the following:

1. Thicker crown and guard
2. AR coated sapphire with 6mm cyclop
3. Thinker date font

Im rather happy with it now but eversince i was introduced here, the conquest of making it as accurate as possible is rather hard to avoid.

1 - buy jimmy fu's CG from thebay.. crown from palpatine/lello/thebay's homer
2 - davidsen?
3 - think finepics (RWG) has them..not too sure tho..
