Modifying Noob Ranger strap...

Had this stiff as a board Noob Ranger sitting around doing nothing, so I decided to try and soften it up.

it spent a week sitting in a bottle of olive oil, it looked like this to start with (the Asso is for colour comparison)



Result



not sure it I like it, but I like experimenting :). It is pretty supple now though

You cant do that? It will/could rot from the inside? Thats what I been taught anyway. Never tried it so I dont know for sure.

I think it looks pretty good with the darker shade. Could you soak it in water to dilute out the olive oil? :p

hehe, then you can put it in motor oil for that OH SO SMOOTH jet black look. You should just start a thread where you put it in different stuff for a week and have the community vote on what it will go in next! :D
