Hello friends ,

I have a PAM 0422 (PAM 422 1: 1 Best Edition) which dates a little.

- I was thinking of changing the dial to put a better version -> compose V6F or SF with a good thickness of the writings.

- put a sapphire like the GEN (there is a plexi too thick)

- a solid casebck, even if it's not GEN, I prefer.

My TD can sell me some of these coins,

In your opinion, is that possible? Is the dial interchangeable? Will the sapphire be able to adapt?

Thank you

As the cases on these are almost identical, it is possible that dials are interchangeable with each other, as long as the movement used is the same (movements can affect the hands of the watch). I would recommend just getting a V6F or SF PAM422, ask the TD about a sapphire upgrade and install a closed caseback and be done with it.

I would just order the V6F, leave the plexi, get a nice strap from Gunny or Alfio and add a closed case back.

A big thank you for the answers @mysterio @granvino

In fact the plexi is too high and not good:

I think ordering a Xtal with 2xAR to rnprof

You think this caseback would go?

Is it better the dial V6F or SF?

Plexiglas and sapphire crystals usually require different bezel construction.
I doubt the swap would work.

Yes you can choose when you buy. But I don't know if the bezel construction is the same. Maybe it is, maybe not.
Imho the best advice is to sell your watch and buy another one with sapphire already fitted. It will cost you less than finding a correct crystal and nylon gasket only to find out they don't fit into your bezel. Just my .02 :)

You are right ... thanks

And if I put a plexi but less thickness ? Possible or even problem?

Maybe you can remove and sand down the existing plexi a little. The only plexis with similar diameter I know of are more or less the same height.

I was thinking of a plexi of 372

It's a little less thick... no?
