Just curious if any of you fine gentlemen could point me in the direction of how to obtain a CG screw for a noob 127? Thanks for any advice....

Thanks...I see they have some screws but how do I know if they'll fit a noob 127? I mean they're tiny and I don't know if I can mic them? Then the threads may be different as well...

Sorry, can't answer that one for you. Maybe someone with far more experience than me can chime in.

I thought I'd read somewhere that CG screws were all the same size whether for 44mm or 47mm Luminors.

I just ordered Panatime screws for kw312 cg becouse another one was totally stripped and could not be tightened. They are at the post office at the moment and i'll pick'em up next week. I'll let you know if they fit. But of course kw may use screws different from noob.

Firstly try to assure the remaining screw
If you have lost external one, put the inner screw and swap it in the external side. Leave free the inner hole under the lever.
Tight strongly the screw, with a 2,5mm screwdriver, adding in the thread some Loctite medium lock (Loctite 243 or 222)
In this way you will assure the crown ans you can wear the watch until get a solution. No worries about

Then wait for the info from PaMister or buy some screws from e-bay link or panatime is not a big investment

I had the same problem with the screws from my 243. Bought the (claimed) correct ones from fleabay. They didn't fit, way too big :(
So I contacted Toro and he sent me a couple. They cost me $15 but at least Toro knows what he's doing and what's what when it comes to correct sizes etc ;)

Oh and make sure you do what Ale suggest and get yourself some Loctite or you could be doing this again :)

Screws arrived. They don't fit KW 50's case, too big, but they do fit Noob's Luminor case (Pam390).

Right size for the screws is a standard M1,6x4 (KW case). They cost about 5-10€/100pcs... However screw heads are probably too big and they need to be filed smaller. That's what I did.

Here is the pic of screws

From top to bottom:

Noobs screw which is similar as gen.

KW's stripped screw which is smaller (M1,6) as gen.

My replacement screw before modification.

And just for the record DSN Ti cases take a m1.4 x 2 mm screw

I have a bunch of m1.6 x 3mm screws but with position head if needed ?

Marlin saved me.. Lol sent me the screw I needed... Since putting the screw back in I've really spent some time wearing this watch and paying attention to it vs. The other two Pam's I've purchased since I posted this and I really can't believe how much better this watch feels compared to them and my other reps as well... I think in guns find out what other upgrades Marlin can do to this watch... Im really appreciating just how exceptionally good this Rep is...

Also I've sent Marlin a pm and email about the hybrid mod... I've got this gear in the center of the movement that is discoloring,, has anyone else noticed this and I'm wondering of it's easily fixed or of maybe this new mod will fix it?

My response to your email:

That is actually a gen gear train so the only thing that would cause the discoloring would be moisture getting inside the watch. Of hundreds of watches this would be the first I have seen with this issue. I don't know how this would be resolved as this is the first incident of this, it could be as simple as brushing the gear down or it may be more to it than this, it's a first. it could be when the crown guard went loose because of the missing screw moisture penetrated the watch and caused this?? That's the only thing I can think of.

Not good news indeed....I don't think, at least to my knowledge the watch has never been wet and it's no sign of moisture anyplace but...but your the man, I'm totally in your care and trust your expertise 110%····I will send her your way and have you take a look to maybe isolate the trouble....

Looking back at my records your watch is not a Hybrid it is an All Asian with the plated gear train. It seems I had mistaken your meaning, seems you want the Hybrid upgrade, sorry for the confusion....
