Mis Aligned hands on a Ultimate PAM092(UPDATED)

Well, I got homw from work today to find a package waiting for me. I was excited because I knew it was my new Ultimate PAM092. I opened the watch to find that the hands are not lined up correctly. When the watch is set at 12:00 the hour hand it off by 15 minutes. Now I have bought 50+ Panerais over the years and this is the first time this has happened.

Any suggestions? Is this an easy fix for a watchmaker?

No problem. They just have to be realigned... this is done everytime when the hands are put off and on.

I just got back from my new watchmaker who is my new best friend. First let me also update you on the fact that the stem also broke off on the Ultimate PAM092. The good news is not only did my new best friend fix the broken stem, but he realligned the hands and then went on to pressure test my watch(which past with flying colors). So I guess I have to be happy about the outcome, it only cost me $25 and I found myself a great watchmaker who will work on my reps

thats probably the second best thing you can get from life just close after you get your first rep

I got my working on reps watchmaker 2mins on foot from my home. I felt lucky to Good smith, with a big knowledge about any kind of watches, old with expirience, cheap and whats most important, a true watch entusiast

Damn... sounds like your misaligned hands led to a lucky find.

I'd be thrilled to find a local watchsmith that was rep friendly... for the stuff I can't do myself, I rely on the watchsmiths that post on these forums... Not a bad option at all IMHO... I don't mind sending watches to visit Vaccum at all... he does great work and charges reasonably.
