I just got my first Rep Omega Aqua Terra and already have issues with it. Like the title states, the minute and hour hand randomly stop working while I'm wearing the watch. I gave it 30-40 winds so it should have enough energy to function. So far the hands don't seem to stop in the same position but rather randomly after 30-60min of wearing the watch.
Videos of issue
In this link I added two videos, one where the problem occurs and one where everything is going fine. I also had the watch on my desk overnight and everything was still working in the morning, so without external movement it seems fine.
From this video discribtion it could be a loose cannon pinion maybe? Did anyone else ever had this problem? Also I was not able to find a watchmaker in my city willing to work on a replica watch so I might have to do it myself or find someone in Germany who would do this.

Sounds like loose cannon pinion or something jamming the hands or motion works. Check to make sure the hands don’t touch each other or the glass or dial, but since the watch keeps running well, it is most likely cannon pinion as this typically stops the watch.

I would say if you have proper screwdrivers and gloves or finger cots and a environment that isn’t ridiculously dirty you can do it. If you leave the back of the mvmt alone, then the motion works are much easier and less precise.

The hands don't seem to touch each other or the glass. However, I have never worked on a watch so I am not sure if this is a repair for a newbie.
