Mini-fiddy case : can the bezel be detached ?

Hi,

I'm on a project, where I'd like to mix PVD and steel.
A PVD case, steel caseback and... steel bezel : I have not managed to unscrew it. Is it even possible or this part is welded ?

They can be detached, Pix. But I've heard they are a pain. You need something very sharp and thin to get the separation started. Putting it back on is supposedly even more fun. I researched it a bit a while back trying to figure out the best way to replace a busted crystal in a mini-fiddy.

I had hoped the thing could be screwed in...
Better to leave it as it is, as indeed the crystal explosion is a serious risk during the operation.
