Is it worth it to AR Mineral Glass? I have a few "cheaper" reps with Mineral....can it be ARed, is it a good idea...

For that matter, can some of the plexi be ARed as well?

Thanks! :D

often a gen crystal in sapphire is wery spensive..

question to axe is have you much trust or experience of trust in

'synthetic sapphire' mineral..

me, no probelm.. though do remember scratching deep mineral crystal

before.. when is deep, too bad.. if light, can be polished out (of course will destroy any

surface AR..

kinda like with price of gen, price of rep.. can one afford not to upgrade with quality, or instead

does one wish simply to have more of lesser quality.. which is no bad..

just choice

(so price what wish, and decide what do..)

I am pretty easy on my reps, so I would not have a problem putting AR on a mineral crystal. If I did happen to damage it so badly it needed replacing I would then consider upgrading if I really liked the watch. It is not as if AR coating is expensive. It is just sort of a pain in the a s s.

Just going through old posts...

To avoid the whole scratch issue and polishing it... could you AR just the inside?
