Miiyota 9015 stuck?

Just got this watch with Miyota 9015 JAEGER LE COULTRE from TSWATCH.
I like it a lot but then noticed there is this black rubber gasket(?) in the movement.
It doesn't move much unless I bang it!
How risky is it to open it myself and pull this thing out?
If I do, do I care to replace it.
I have no plan to swim with this watch but want casual water proof feature!

I'd say it's not that risky. It's just the case gasket. Unscrew the case back, realign the gasket and slowly screw it back in. Easy.
