While waiting for my 382 to arrive wanted to test out a safe why to shine it. Found out this idiot proof way and tested it on my yr old helson.

Soaked it for 15mins in this food grade stuff.

I think if you wanted more shine just soak longer.

Enjoy your experiments!

guys this might be a retarded question but is it safe to dip the watch into any solution? is it waterproofed? Thanks

Lemon juice works better. You can also cut a lemon in half and sprinkle salt on it for a scratch free abrasive affect that will clean off the green oxidation from sea water.

In the Bronze Age they used extra virgin olive oil (the best from the first pressing) with the lowest possible level of acidity (below 0,8). Just apply a very light coat and the oil acts as sealer and protectant. They probably knew what they where doing with their swords, their life depended on it....

i soaked my bronzo in ketchup for 30mins.. then just washed it with hot water and some dishwashing liquid to get rid of the smell
