Members thoughts on this replica seller and Swiss ETA movement

Hi everyone,

Wanted to get some the members thoughts on this seller on gumtree over here in the UK.

I'm quite new to the forum but what brought me here in the beginning was these adverts I had previously seen on gumtree (not sure if our friends in the USA have gumtree, but like Craigslist).

Basically this person is selling replicas clearly but information on movements etc is limited or none existent, and the prices he's asking for is high.

Now he says all these watches are Swiss ETA movement, but I find that hard to believe.

Was interested to get the thoughts of seasoned members of the quality of the watches on face value in the adds.

Just stick with our TD's, loads cheaper, custom issues virtually non-existent in the UK, QC pics, after sales, supporting this xcellent community.
This question comes up as much as who has the best sub lol

The subs look like noob v5 or earlier, so good quality. But where is the proof of ETA, I don't buy it. There are similar listings on Ali with packages like this with clone ETA that come with the box etc for $399.00 USD. The price he is asking is almost $700 USD. This is a ripoff. You can get a new Noob v6s for less than $400 USD, or around 290 GBP plus shipping and fees. Either way its cheaper and like it has been said you get the security of RWI and our TD's. And who knows what kind of low life this guy is. Better off dealing with TD's here than a criminal where you live. Just my two cents. Good Luck.

Hi Ralpy. Thanks for your thoughts. I had no intention of buying from him and would only buy here, your right about the ETA I don't buy this too.

Find it amazing though his guy can get away with selling these on he likes of gumtree for so long.

Watches look OK but (very) expensive. Besides, no way I'd trust a guy who is claiming a gen Swiss movement in a Daytona which is impossible.
