I have purchased and owned replicas as far back as 2006. I stopped buying reps in 2010 and sold or gave away all my reps (except for one) to other rep enthusiasts.
Now, I am jumping back in with the purchase of a rep Rolex GMT Master II. Or, at least, I am trying to purchase one.
Hopefully, I get a positive answer from Andrew for one of those four alternative requests. Or what may be even more helpful is if he could let me know if specific reasonable alternative is in stock instead of me guessing each time. But I can imagine that he is 1) very busy and that 2) it is the Chinese New Year's period, and many factories are not producing for the time being.
What I ask of this wonderful community of rep enthusiasts is, do you have any recommendations (for a Rolex GMT Master II 904L rep; jubilee bracelet preferable, but not a deal breaker) that I should prefer because maybe a particular factory is no longer producing (long-term) or maybe due to other reasons? Is my approach sensible?

- My order was confirmed on 24 January, and I received an email from Andrew (or maybe the automated system he may have conduct such communication) stating that payment (of $668 USD) had been verified on 26 January. So, everything was moving as normal. I do understand that from time to time a specific rep model may be out-of-stock and the buyer may need to opt for an alternative purchase; this is not unusual.
- On Friday, 27 January, I received an email from Andrew explaining that the watch I had ordered (model ROLGMT174) was out-of-stock, and he advised me to "choose another item to replace" it and to email him as soon as possible, which I did.
- On the same day, I replied that I would be happy to receive anyone of two other similar models (ROLGMT0207A, or ROLGMT0207B), both of which were slightly less expensive than my original order of $668 USD.
- Today (28 January), I received a reply from Andrew stating that those other two models are also out-of-stock. So, just a few minutes ago, I sent him an email asking about four other alternatives (ROLGMT0250B, ROLGMT0275, ROLGMT0222, or ROLGMT0259), all of these reps are less expensive than my original purchase request.
