Hi,
I recently purchased a watch from Luxwatchez. They have the worst customer service & I haven't received my goods & emailed them for a tracking number, that they state they provide.
They emailed back telling me quote" f**k of you freak, f**k you, do not write here anymore. They have also blocked my IP address so I can no longer access their website.":realmad:
Buyer beware of Luxwatchez!

Yeah I suppose thats what I should've done. I am wanting to buy alot of watchez & purchased just one to test the company on their service first. I obviously got my answer to that. Will find it hard to trust another online company, unfortunately.

No need to post this in two locations mate.
Let's see if I can merge the two threads without making a mess :)

Wow! What asshats! No less than I would expect from Lux however.
How did you pay? If by CC contact your bank and get a charge back done.

Hi, thanks for that, I didn't know if I needed to post to both areas.
I am really bummed that this has happened, I paid $650 US, which really sucks.

I paid through PayPal, but they don't take disputes until 45 days have past.

It has been over three weeks now & have emailed them a few times about progress of the order. They came back to me a twice saying my order is coming from the factory in the two nearest days.

The emails didn't have any letter head or signed by any one, I immediately got a bit worried, so I kept emailing them for a date of delivery & tracking #, that they say they provide.

I am still hoping to receive the watch. What do you think my chances are?

I replied to them after their last email & told them I would dispute the transaction with paypal & my cc company.

my friend, you do not need to wait 45 days to open a dispute

45 days is the time you have to open a dispute after you sent a payment

It seems the website do not work...

If you paid with PP open the dispute now before it's too late. You only have 30 days I think. You can also loge one with your CC company if no joy from PP if you used your CC thru your PP acount.
Act now before it's too late.

i would act now with the PP dispute. even if you do get the watch, it may not even be what you ordered in the first place. $650 USD is a lot of money. what did you order?

Well, good call on testing them with just the one watch first.

And I understand that it would be hard to trust another dealer again, but have a look around here. Our dealers, while not perfect, still do better than THAT, even on their worst days. :)

Thanks again for that. I have just opened a dispute with Paypal now.

I did a research on whois & the domain name country is Russia.

I have searched this forum for Luxwatchez too & looks like he's banned from here. So I am not holding out any hope of receiving the watch.

It seems the website do not work...
did you try to logonto Luxwatchez.com site?

Lets hope I can get back what I have paid.

Thanks everyone.

Ahh, now I know who you mean!
The guy who owns that site and a few dozen other sites selling every thing from watches to dodgy Viagra actualy lives in Florida. I did have his addy somewhere, buggered if I know where now but I may be able to dig it up. Ya prob don't wanna mess with them in person tho, we are talking heavies here.

G'day Brad - always good to see another aussie in here.
You may have to chalk that one up to experience (an expensive lesson, unfortunately)
Hope you can get some redress via the CC company etc.

As for the issue of trust - take your time in here and read a lot. Lots of members here with loads of lovely watches and tales to tell about getting them from trustworthy dealers. You've found the right place.

See you sometime - (as soon as Col organises a GtG for Qld members)

Drop me a PM with your details and join the Aussie members list.
Meta: QLD is next after we get the Sydney meet out of the way. Won't be this year as there is none left to speak of but sometime in Feb looks good.
