Question: what is involved in converting (installing new dial) a Panerai Luminor Marina with second hand to a base Luminor without second hand? Is it possible for a skilled watchmaker to do this without too much difficulty?

Watch is a PAM111M that I want to have converted to a PAM114.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure does it have the same size/dimension and not sure does the dial leg is the same position?

This is easy to do... Do you have the dial and movement for the 6497-base?

You can even twak the seconds pin off the movement if you dare ;)

Thanks for the comments and the link. I definitely won't be doing the work myself but probably send to Katt. If I had the tools and steady hand I'd happily swap movements but alas I'm too much of a noob...

Yup, thats the one. Thanks Fiddo!

It's really just as simple as cutting this there.

Just taking it all apart and putting it back together that's a bugger. ;)
