Luminor Marina-PAM 111 noob or PAM 605

Which is the better PAM to go with? I am after a black leather strap. From the reviews I've read on the Stickies this is the watch I would love to have. I jit have to narrow it down down.

How does the manual movement work exactly? Any TD on this website is fine to go with I take it, but if someone recently purchased one of these and wanted to share their experiences please let me know. Thanks!

It's up to you and if you want to worry about it. Personally, I like seeing a nicely modded movement and I do like a sandwich dial over a sausage.

No sorry. You cant buy a modded movement from the TDs. I think toro sells a 111 with incabloc mod, but beyond that, modding would need to be done on your own.

On the PAM 111 why doesn't it come with the black leather strap with white stitching? Its not even an option by Toro. I guess I could always swap it out. I went with the plain black leather strap.

Rep strap are usually very poor anyway and you will want to swap it out. My 111 is like a torch for around 20 mins and slowly starts to dim. Very bright initially.
