Luminor GMT (PAM 088) from T4D - pics!

I received this PAM 088 from Robert earlier this week and took a few snaps of it last night (just as the sun was going down ).

Quick summary on the watch:-

- Robert's best 088 version at $199
- Asian 7750 movement with GMT complication (I also paid extra for the pre-delivery service)
- Sapphire crystal with no AR
- Lume is above average
- Rep brown croc strap replaced with a nice quality darker brown croc leather strap (from eBay) - really nice rep buckle btw

I was looking for a PAM that was a bit different but still dressy and would go well with a dark brown croc strap - I think this fits the bill nicely and am delighted with this combo!

Must pick one of these up! Is there a "more" ultimate version than this (with AR + superlume)?? For some reason I remember thinking that these were like 400+ for the ultimate version

Cheers mate! Yes, the so-called ultimate is over twice this amount but I can't see where the extra value is. It's not even super-lumed iirc.

there was a more ultimate version but they no longer produced it, it basically had a great case&cyclops.. kbiz did a fantastic job building 2 wonderful GMT frankens using some of these ultimate parts..

i've been searching in vain for a 063 or a 088, since joining e rep game.. &it seems like u have given me an ans!

but there're rumors tt either H or N factories might be producing these babies..but as most wld knw, sometimes, it aint true..

anyway heres my ultimate 088 which i bought from another geek on RG quite some time back.

hopefully the factories will produce newer versions which higher accuracy as seen in the recent waves of 005, 177, 288, 111, 112 etc

I realise that the H-Factory are apparently producing an 088 - I'm sure it will look great but I'm also sure it will cost more than this one, plus you never know about the H-Factory movements - their QC is almost non-existent! At least I got this one serviced by T4D before delivery!
