All my Luminors are now waterproof except the Flybacks and Rattrapante, I've searched around here and couldn't find anyone who tried this, I only found a waterproofed Ferrari but the pushers on that look a little diffrent. Has anyone successfully waterproofed the chrono pushers on a H factory Luminor, like the ones on the 332 or 253? I want to know before I start if it's achievable with the factory gasket/spring or they need to be replaced.

Found a thread at RWG with people claiming it can be done on the 253 with the factory rings, I guess I'll take the plunge, test it first with an empty case.

The pushers should have O-rings, remove the C clamps and check, then use a lot of good silicone grease, it should work so long as you don't go deep underwater.

So today I decided to waterproof my 332, opened it up and it doesn't have screws holding the pushers like the 253, it has C-Rings. These are a pain to be taken off and put back on so I decided it's easier to just squeze the grease to the o-ring thru the gap and clean the mess afterwards. Luckily it worked quite well and I didn't had to take them apart. Forgot to take pics of the most important steps :(

Tested it without the movement at around 10 PSI and success, after 1 hour no leaks. I probably won't be diving with this one but it's nice to know it can take some rain or a water fight.

Took the opportunity to clean the inside, crystal and dial of Chinese dust and fingerprints. I'm gonna leave it overnight in a container with some desiccant to make sure that any moisture from cleaning the case is gone before sealing it with the caseback
