Lume experts need your expertise

Just got QC but it looks like there are dimples where the lumes are, surely this can't normal?

It's not uncommon, on lume plots that small you'll never see it IRL. Put your phone 6 feet away and the watch image is still larger than it will appear on your wrist. How do the lume plots look now?

To answer your question, the surface of a lumed indice or hand is never going to be perfectly smooth, it's not paint it's a powder mixed with a binder, there will inevitably be certain degree of texture to the surface.
