LPMM 6152/1

Well, it's been a while since I posted something new.. I was dragged into re-uploading all of my pictures due to my old hosting service changing domain without notice. It was a long and boring job and in the meantime, of course, I did not stop building so I will have a bit of catch up now :)

First of the builds I want to show you guys is this 6152/1 based on the new NW case set. As you may see it is really a beautiful case set and a real major improvement over the old one.

Dial comes from Steph_Dexter, with a further repaint and relume job by Belkin12 (this was necessary because I damaged the original dial paint done by SD... :()
The new case set is more precisely machined and needs a 1.6mm thick 37mm wide dial in order for everything to fit snugly inside the case.
Since we wanted a LPMM dial with seconds for this build and the movement was an asian 6497 we had to sacrifice the nine marker to the 37mm width. The resul is good anyway imho.

Here's a parts list:

- New NW complete case set
- SD/Belkin12 dial
- Athaya Hands
- Orloff strap

And some more pics:

That's all for now, hope you enjoyed the pics :)

Another nice one. It's unfortunate about the 9 marker - how might you get around this problem in future 4 line dial builds with this NW case and a seconds complication?

You have to make either the numbers or the seconds subdial smaller (or both). And maybe shift everything a little towards the rehaut.

So basically you end up with something closer to the PAM127 dial arrangement?

Nice article. Is the movt cover part of the set?
i heard Gordon got access to an untouched gen 6152 case and managed to get all measurements correct.

kilowattore Congrats on another amazing vintage build.

The NW Case is really amazing. Have you done an Angelus build in one yet?

I have two in the making :donttellanyone:
apart from some minor adjustment on movement holder's inner dimensions, the fit is just as nice.

Same story on the previous version as well I had to grind down the ring to get the movement to fit.

the case shape and CG on this recent version is incredible. I’ll be ordering one soon

So I am in love with this build......Anyway You could provide a parts list? I have decided to venture into this Homage Build of a 6152/1 as I already have the technical knowledge and experience taking watches apart and movements. Vintage Watch Parts has so much listed on their site. I want to make sure I don't buy the wrong part as I am in the States. Im going to take several months building this and will post progress here as well in a new thread. I like your set up here. ITs soooooo classy and vintage. It SCREAMS Watch Enthusiast all the way. Would you mind messaging me Thank You

Parts are as stated in th OP. You can get a complete case set through NW's website, just be sure to include all extras you need such as lugbars, movement holder, crownguards and so on. NW has also unfinished compatible dials on his website that you can use with this case.

When you say NW you mean Nights Watch ? Also are you referencing the vintagewatchparts.co.uk site ?
