Have it on now for maybe the 6th time, and I gotta just say, it's a beautiful watch. And I'm still happy with the rep Assole (sp?) strap!! Here's a couple of today shots...and I just saw some guy selling one in the sales thread. If you're thinking about getting one of these, do it!

Congrats, really nice watch

Bear in mind future buyers that this gen watch is fitted with the movement P.9001 instead of P.9000.
The difference is a little back indicator of Power Reserve in a bridge of the movement.

Well, KW has released a version of this watch with a decoration which include this Power reserve indicator.

Wow, I've had mine for all of about a month and there's already an updated decor to the movement? Mine is P9000 - which model has the PR indicator on the dial?

The PR indicator is at the back in a bridge of the movement like gen, not on the dial.
Read the links above indicated and see the pics.
Rep PAMs are changing almost every day ... LOL...

Yeah I ordered the 441 from KW (through Sora/Shine Watch), with that updated movement decoration a few days ago, waiting for QC photos.. I was curious to see if the GMT function actually worked on this model.

It does on mine, so I assume the newer one would, too. Nice new addition that movement decor, and at a lot less $ than I paid!

the 441 was a beauty, I got the one from the first batch but sadly I had sold it due to the p9000 movement instead of the p9100, and the front crystal seem plasticky and the back crystal is not darkened.

I agree the asso strap included with the 441 is really good and I havent included it selling, I have placed it on my 111v3. really good strap!

The back crystal on mine is darkened. So this P9000 vs 9001 is a good way to distinguish if you can see the back of the watch:)

I don't find the crystal to be plasticky. But it's also not the clearest one i've ever seen either.

Think maybe he meant to say, he got a 441 from the First Batch of P9000's (the same one you have), and it had the above issues, so he sold it... ill let you know about the back of the watch being darkened or not as soon as my qc pics arrive. On the above P9001 with PR, it does look darkened.

hi emdeevee,

How can your PR indicator work on yours, when the P9000 decorated movmt has no PR indicator at the back???

ALE,

Give us some insight on this updates please...

1. I thought KW did not make DLC'ed PAM's....

2. Does this mean we are going to see VERY SOON an updated version of PAM320? from KW?

Thanks D.

GeDi, i think he was referring to the question posted by another member asking if the GMT works. Since this is a modified 7750 made to look similar to a p9000/1 it certainly has the capabilities of a functioning GMT just like the PAM088 and others but of-course the PR function will be cosmetic or faux just like the newer PAM090's and IWC Pilots that have this feature.

Yes, exactly. I was referring to the GMT function which I have set and tracked and confirm that it works (though, I'm still fuzzy on exactly how/whey to use it).

My new IWC BP has a functioning PR, btw.

If the IWC BP has functioning power reserve, then it must be 21j/23j with a bit of a sunken date wheel. The new 7750 models are faux PR. The needle is usually fixed.

GMT is a second time zone. With the 7750 you can change the gmt hand by pulling the crown out to the point where you normally change the date (1 stop i think) and then turn the opposite direction from when you change the date (Counter clockwise i believe). You can do this to set the time for a different time zone.

Example, you are from europe but traveling to US. You want to know what time it is where you are but also the time where you family/friends are and for this the gmt hand is fantastic.

Yes, but how does the GMT hand, work on the 441?

It does not have an 24 hour scale like Rolexes.

So, it must be rotating on a 12 hour scale instead (thats why its been said that you can hide the GMT hand behind the hour hand - if you dont use it- to make the dial look more "clean"..?

Or is it rotating on a 24h scale and you just have to calculate the time?
