I have recessed and flattened the cg pin on my noob pam111 v3, but when I insert the pin it is now loose. After opening and closing the cg a couple of times, the pin moves out of the hole in the cg, and I have to push it back in.
How can I fix this problem? Should I just glue the pin in place?

Solved it: I squeezed the lower part of the pin between the teeth of a plier a couple of times, and reinserted the pin. Now it's in there tight!

Ahh... the old homemade "knurling" trick.

I was gonna suggest splashing the metal with a center punch but it seems you found a similar but different way !

Way to go !!!

Thanks for the tip Raddave! I'll keep that in mind for when I run into a pin made of harder metal.

An electric engraver (vibrating type) will also do the trick, but with a little more finesse than a center punch
