I've bought a couple of cases on Ebay from turtlecreation (that's the seller name also). I bought a rosewood box that holds 10 for $35 inc. shipping and a walnut double decker that holds 20 for $50 inc. shipping. Very nice quality inside and out.

85,000 dollars?? I hope that's new Zealand dollars :)

A note on acetimer, I ordered from them and the shipping has been slow. I think they got it sorted though. He seemed to forget my order, but an email got it taken care of.

Yep, I've also bought a couple from turtlecreation. I'm not so fond of wooden boxes or boxes with see-through lids, though. I prefer discrete boxes that fit in my underwear drawer and that do not draw my wife's attention. :D The ones I bought look like this. Black faux leather with white stitching. Good quality though.

Thanks for the info Fakemaster. I also happen to be in the market for a reasonably priced watch box…. now that I have run out of room in my Underwood box. http://www.pianki.com/Underwood-Jewelry-and-Watch-Winder-Safe--40-Module-Unit_p_2381.html

 Wow. And that is the one you take with you on travels - we should see the stationary one you have at home... :D

Since you asked... I have an Orbita Bergamo in my study. http://valetstand.com/wawidicabe40.html It's a little less conspicuous.

Nice! Can't go wrong with an Orbita Bergamo. Well, can't go anywhere really. Hey, they are 25% off today! I'm pulling the trigger right away.

I like their slogan, "Affordable solutions for your affluent lifestyle". Yep, that's me alright! :D

I showed my wife the orbita...she said it would be cheaper to hire people at minimum wage to stand in my closet and keep my watches moving. :)

I have an AceTimer in my closet. Looks good, but even better - works perfectly! It's quiet and it was cheap. Winds 8, holds 10 more. I was planning on buying a 2nd one in the near future, but have put more watches and cases on hold for a while due to current economic conditions.
Buy what you like and can afford. I care more about function than appearance, because I don't keep my watches out for public display. I only show my watch collection to a very few close friends and family. No one else needs to know how many I own, what brands they are, which are reps vs. gens, etc.
And NEVER keep your display case near a window! Big Brother is watching, you know!!!

Trouble for me is I'm SICK AND TIRED of watchboxes that hold only 20 pieces. I need something that holds either 40, 60, 80 or even 100 pieces in one unit. I'm building a collection of Ace Timer Oak Finish 20-watch boxes very soon, which sucks coz it's so darn hard to organise things around here.
