Looking for the best PAM 424 California

Hi RWI,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've taken the time to review some great threads on this forum, including ALE's thread about the best replica models. Amazing contribution to this site, ALE! Thank you.

I'm looking for a PAM 424 with the most accurate build quality and specs. From what I gather through reading, the SF version is better than the ZF, however, of the TD sites I've visited, none of them offer the SF, only the ZF.

I did happen to find one SF from Trusty Time but their price seems to be quite a bit higher than the ZF versions I've seen offered by other dealers. $458 vs $298, respectively. (BTW, I hope it's okay to post the name of a dealer... mods please delete if this is against forum rules).

Is it possible that the SF is that much better that it commands that much of a higher price?

I'm hoping some of the more seasoned members will chime in and help me find a PAM 424.

Hi Stilo, I bought a Pam424 yesterday with my local trusted dealer, wich just came back from China celebrating the CNY. He came with some very nice watches in his personal bag, and he had one for sale.
It's from a new factory called GF, that he knew the owner.
You can try to ask to your dealer for it if you want, it's a very good rep, check below:

Forgot to say that this was cheaper than ZF. And it has a sapphire crystal, not plexi glass.

SF is slightly better, but not to the point that it commands a $120+ premium over the ZF. Barring any new photos, the ones on Trusty's site still has the flaws mentioned by ALE, and the improvements are just cosmetic,

Sead just got a ZF for me, but he told me it was "iffy" to get. Didn't get QC pics yet, though.

The 448 has plexi and blue hands, the 424 has saphire, gold hands and the OP Logo. I will stick to the 424 because of the saphire.

I just got my QC for the 424 and I love it. With a little effort, the TDs still do get the ZF version!

Mine says hi and I've got the 425 SF which is very close to this so I'd say go for the SF if you have a huge price difference

I've never heard of this factory, granted I've not visited in a little while. Anyone else know of this factory? @ALE7575

I've been on the hunt for a Pam424 for over 8 months and have dealt with 2 dealers who failed miserably at finding me a good enough dial such as the one you just took pictures of @replikmaster If I would have received QC pics of the dial that looked like that, I would have a 424 on my wrist right now.

I'd love to hear more about this new factory making the Pam424. It's one of my holy grails of watches I have to have!
