Hi. I'm a newbie.

I have a small collection of watches (about 20, mostly Japanese) and I am here to explore the "dark side".

I would like to buy my first rep with your help.

In the last months, I have read many post from ALE (excellent), but my English is not very good. For example, I do not understand the "evaluation scale". I hope you can advise me on my first purchase (I will try to improve my English).

What I'm looking for:

-Luminor or Submersible.

-44/45 mm (6.75 wrist)

-High quality rep

-High quality dealer

-Paypal.

I would greatly appreciate your advice.

Thanks

If you really want to do PayPal, your only choice is the m2m sales board. TDs don't accept that.

390 or 111/112. Those will be the perfect choices. However 390 is hard to come by. Both super reps! And both will knock your socks off.

PayPal, you'll have to build a reputation here m2m first. Good luck, and happy hunting!!

Here is my suggestion for both Luminor and Submersibles all 44mm

Luminor - 005 Noob, 111 Noob, 390 Noob, 056c HFact
Submersible - 243 , 087 HFact

I'll also list some 47mm just in case you have the courage to jump to that extra 2mm ;) !!

Luminor - 127 KW
Submersible - 569 KW, 364 Noob

Good luck on your PAM hunt !!

Just re-read the guide. Look for either Super Rep or First Class in the heading of the model. Then check if the style is what you're looking for. For dealers, it's best to check the dealer's section for reviews although all Trusted Dealers here should be good to get you what PAM you want. As for PayPal, it would depend per dealer, not all of them may use PP nor may deal with you because new members cause all sorts of problems by raising a dispute with PayPal when not everything goes their way.

Thank you very much to all, gentlemen.
I have looked carefully at all the models that you have proposed me.
These are my favorites:

PAM 087
PAM 390
PAM 243

So, I think I'm going to buy the 087.
Actually, I like the 064 more, but according to the ALE's guide, the 087 is a more accurate replica.

Two more questions:

-Would you choose PAM 087 for this reason?

-Where would you buy it?

Thanks again !!!

Thank you. I did and I will continue to do.

I understand about Paypal. I will adapt myself.

A small reminder that 087's blue dial and yellowish markers + hands is not your typical standard issue Pam dial combo (black and green).

Personally I love it, it's currently on my hunting list after the 111 and 2 non pam models.

If you're lucky enough to be able to purchase from this forum's TDs, go for it. The strict procedures on sales here offers peace of mind and reasonable prices. Just make sure your watch can pass your country's customs.

Goodluck and have fun shopping.
