Hi Guys,

Does anyone know whereI can get a REP of the 2006 PAM 249 vintage re-make of the California dial with blue hand stack. I checked DSN with no luck. Any idea's?

sorry to tell you its no more available.....from Davidsen. and i must say, the last watches i have recieved from him were FLAWLESS.
its the incorrect movement....but 100% swiss, and i love the decoration ! this movement is not available no more.

i would try to source a swiss 6497 / 98, ( TOURBY HAS AWESOME MOVEMENTS ) and buy all the rest from Davidsen, have it put together by one of our trusted watchmakers.

you will love it. Base all the way !

PS: my opinion on the Dievas watch :


the hands look scary.....all uneven.
question of taste, but i also dont like the shaped crystal.
the crown.....would be nice to have the logo on it.
its a swiss mvmnt..i am pretty sure..but the shock protection is kinda oldschool.

the price ? sigh

if i tell you how much mine was you will start crying.

id ask DVSN for the case, crystal, crown, etc.

( or anybody that can provide what youre looking for ) - i am just very happy with his case, especially the crystal.

then just look who can provide a ( i suggest swiss ) movement raw..... decorated...whatever you want.

from 100$ to 1000 $. then give it to one of our watchsmith....or anybody of your choice.

there was a new 6497 for sale today.

anyways ...ask Davidsen what movements he has available...and if you dont like it......closed caseback. who cares. the watch itself is awesome.
thats what i would do.

Andrew has the 2006 California hidden in plane site. I think I'm going to pull the trigger and swap out the brown strap and take some inspiration from Horologie_Unitas and go black with the cool stitching.

If you guys would be kind enough to take a look and let me know your opinions.

#1 -- That's NOT a Swiss movement.

#2 -- The "California" print above the 12 o'clock is not present on the gen

The price is pretty good. Lume is likely non-existant. If you can live with those facts, I say go for it. The price is pretty decent.
