Looking for a Tudor BB "Black"

Hi,

i'm looking for a Tudor Heritage BB with black bezel, and i have seen different models on the dealers websites. I would like to know if there is a model which have a better quality than the others...

it's probably kind of rare. almost everybody opts for one of the colors

Hi, only the Tudor Fastshield has a black bezel and red letters, cheap and reliable quartz-version around (the same with all TDs) with flaws - and just released an expensive automatic one with other flaws.

I think pretty much JF version is the better than any other versions. You can get one from Ryan @ intime for $248 with a bonus leather strap if memory serves. That's what I got mine for. It's a great solid watch!

Um, the BB only comes as either blue or red, there is no black Black Bay.

They do offer a fantasy model with the black bezel.

The ZF is the best to my knowledge.

Ok thank you for the answers. It seems that this model only exists at ZF's. I have seen it at pure-time, torobravo, asian7750 and intime. Now i have to choose a dealer... It seems to be available and i'll try to contact them. I have never ordered at those dealer's, so if you have any suggestion...
I will try to search information in the "dealers" section in the forum...

At asian7750's it seems to be the "Update Version 2"... I haven't seen this information on the other dealer's model...

Hello, I sent an email to these sites asking them if I can buy the black insert and crown tube as to replace them on my original (gen) RBB, I have my doubts they'd be available but in case they are, do you know if they are a 1:1 faithful fit and repro? If not, could anyone please point me out in the direction to get them? Cheers

I have a Black bezel Black Bay I had purchased from another member that I replaced the broken Asian clone with an ETA and gilt dial and hands (still have the silver). I'll try and get a picture up tomorrow of it especially now that they showed off the Black Bay One.

Here it is on a Crown and Buckle blue horween leather nato with gold hardware.

As for locating the bezel and crown tube it may be best to just find the black version and buy it. Once I saw the new Black Bay One I almost thought they finally announced a version like this till I saw it was a one off with gloss black dial with red text, stick hour hand and red triangle on the black bezel. This definitely looks great as you can see and I debate keeping or selling it sometimes though I love the look it's still a fantasy model.

The only thing confirmed from others on the board is the bezel insert. Not sure about anything else since finding gen parts is hard since you can only get from an AD with a warranty card.

I see. If insert fit is the same, how about the pearl lume/tone? It'd be a matter of just trying the crown tube. In terms of getting gen parts, it's not a suitable option as only red and blue colors are available and not black which is the look I'm after

I would consider trading a NOS (New Old Stock) 20mm or 19mm original tropic strap for a black repro insert and crown tube. It'd be a great match for your vintage diver if you have some...
