How thick is considered thick by you? Thickness can vary from one person to another. I have made straps from 3mm thick to 10mm thick. So where in between do you want it?

thanks everyone for your inputs!
I did build myself one recently, it's just the stitching part that I'm too lazy to tackle.
its 5mm thick with nice grain/texture and very soft for a thick strap.
but I need to buy a few tools (thread punch, needles, etc) in order to stitch it, hence my interest in buying one already made.
